Yes, you’re right, you’re still in my blog. I just changed the look of it (finally!). The last time I changed the theme of my blog was last December 2009. I changed Kelvinonian.com’s theme that time because I wanted my blog to look fresh in the eyes because I had a very dark theme before. And this time I changed the look of my blog again because I need something new this time, something that will drive my blogging force again.
You may notice that the last few months this year were not very nice months for this blog. I updated this blog for about two to three times a month – and that’s not a good thing because I usually blog two to three times every week. I was so busy because of so many school stuffs to do – and so many video games to finish! :P
But now, I am promising that I will update this blog just like how I update this in my usual way. And to all my readers and subscribers, thank you very much for still being with me even I haven’t updated this blog real nice.

My blog has been hosted by my friend (who’s a blogger, too) since I moved to WordPress. He let me use his hosting account, gave me a free domain name – all for free. You can say hello to hime at his blog, at kissfendi.com
Fendi and I have been good friends since we met virtually here online, at my blog at blogspot. He frequently put comments on my blog. Then, we exchanged ideas about blogging and then, he just gave me a wonderful present. That was so wonderful of him.
Having your blog being hosted by a friend is fun. No payments at all, no worries, just blogging fun! But of course, there’s nothing permanent here. I decided to buy my own webhosting account, not because Fendi wants me to go away, but because I want to have one and I can have one. And I must say that, this blog has recently leveled up. I am now hosting my very own blog.
Year 2009 for me was awesome. I mean, only for me, because of so many things happened to me that year. But for our beloved country, Philippines, 2009 was not that good.
Anyway, I want this post to be only for me. I want to share to you what happened to me last year 2009. From January 2009 to December 2009, I’ll write it here.
January 2009. January is the first month of every year. And this first month is very special to our family, because my Dad and my younger sister, Keith Anne, celebrate their birthdays on this month. My Dad’s birthday party was full of fun, and that was my first time to drink two bottles of red and white wine! Yeah, I was the only one who drank to separate bottles of wines, because they have their own drinks too! We all had party all night.

Did you see that? Yeah, that pair of eyes. That banner was one I used on my first blog, which was hosted by Blogger. Those eyes became a trademark of my blog, since I use it. Many says that it’s cool, but some says it’s creepy. Well, I don’t care! Ha-ha-ha. Yeah, I just love those eyes of mine. It just remind me how my blog transforms from time to time. If you’ll see my first ever blog (which I deleted) you’ll gonna laugh to death! Ha-ha-ha, yeah, because of so many grammatical errors, non-sense topics and dull looks. But I guess, most bloggers started just like that, right?
After some months, a blogger gave me a space from his webhosting account plus a domain. All for free! He’s just so generous, and I’m just so lucky! Now, we’re still friends, and I’m happy with that. So, start to be more friendly, maybe one day, you’ll meet a generous blogger, too!
The “Be Creative, Shout Your Love” blog contest was my first ever blog project which was really talked about. Many people supported me to pursue this dream project. Doing this thing is no joke, it’s so damn hard, but the rewards are satisfying. With the celebration of my blog’s first year anniversary here on blogosphere, I ended up with this great contest. Yeah, I am very happy with this.
And as of now, the voting arena was shut down. And apparently, you can tell who won. But I have something to tell first. I am disappointed with the 1st place winner. Apparently, the winner has an entry which we can say, effortless. Yeah, I need to say that. I love the work of Jay-L but, yeah, other participants did more than what he had done. I can say that, voting system is a huge mistake. The voting from other people around the web became a hey-vote-for-me-because-I’m-your-friend scheme. More and more people voted not because of the entry but because of friendship. That’s normal, but, not right. In short, it became a popularity contest. But just like what Janette Toral said, blog contests/writing projects can be improved from past mistakes.
