World of Warcraft is a famous massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) which played by millions and millions of people all over the world. My younger sister, Keith Anne Servigon, is now on college. She’s taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management course in a university near our place. It has been a while since I posted an entry here on my blog because I’ve been very busy these days. Last week, I was preparing for the upcoming school year 2010-2011. And this week, all people in our house were so busy because our new rest house is being constructed. My Mom is always going there to see the construction and I, being the only one who can drive, became the driver of my Mom – great.

It was really tiring, driving in different places. But it was kinda fun too because it feels exciting and really good to see our new rest house being built by many people. We are all excited for it. And right now, I am planning a photoshoot in our new rest house when it’s already done.

I am thinking of new concept for the shoot. I can make, another glamorous theme, maybe we can park a gorgeous car next to our rest house creating a perfect backdrop for a glamour-themed photo shoot. Or maybe, we can set a traditional Filipino courtship scene called harana. We can buy musical instruments for the guy and a nice dress for the girl. There are many ideas in my mind. But all these ideas must be put into test, we need to work on it.

Preparing for a photoshoot isn’t easy, but it’s fun. Especially when I’m working with my cousins – they’re really great when it comes to these stuffs. How about you? Do you have any idea about a great theme we can use for our next photo shoot?

I said earlier that I have a new beginning in my life. So, what does it mean? It means, a new beginning as a college student. Here in the Philippines, school days is starting again. School year 2010-2011 begins. And this school year, I am now a third year college student – yeah.

School is boring – only when you do boring things. For me, school is fun with boring stuffs. Going to school college is fun when you start having friends, meeting new people, and receiving awards.

This year, everything will be different. We’re already third year Civil Engineering students – that means we already have major CE subjects. Like Thermodynamics, Surveying, Engineering Materials and more. We heard that those subjects are really hard, plus some of the professors are giving hard exams. These means, we really need to be serious now. We need to study more unlike before, that we can go anywhere right after the classes. But now, it’s different.We’re already taking up major engineering subjects.

I am taking up Civil Engineering course and being a CE student isn’t easy. But of course, this is college. This is my investment for my future.

Yes people, this is another post about buying things online. Just like what I’ve said before, I am a bit worried about buying stuffs online. But now, I’ve been buying some things online since I got some funds in my online bank account. It’s fun, and hassle-free.

In buying stuffs online, you need to consider things. You first need to see if the seller has a good online reputation or not. If they already sold many things online. You need to look over their track records because it’s important to know if they’re good or not. Next, you need to compare prices of different sellers. Just like in buying tickets online (like 1ST MARINER ARENA TICKETS, Merriweather Post Pavilion Tickets and COMERICA PARK TICKETS). There are many online shops that offer tickets that can be sold online. But only some of them have a good reputation.

In my experience, I love buying stuffs online (as of now). Because it’s hassle-free and fun (just like what I said on the first paragraph). And I noticed that, some of the things that can be found online, have lower prices if compared to stuffs that can be sold in shopping malls or other shops. So, it’s good to buy things online too.

Philippine Elections

Today is May 8, 2010 and one more day, it’s time for the Philippine Elections 2010. Many Filipinos (the voters, specifically) are focusing too much in choosing their president. It’s ok, but we still have to choose the vice-president, the senators, to party-lists, up to the local officers.

Let’s talk about Party-lists groups. There are many of them this coming elections. But I noticed one group that aims to resolve an issue in the LPG industry here in our country. As of now, the LPG price in our country is really unstable, from low price going so high, and then dropping to low price again. But now, it is increasing again. And here comes the Liquified Petroleum Gas Marketer’s Association party list (LPG-MA). A group of small players in the LPG industry who wants to be the watchdog of this industry.

So, why LPG price hike issue is very important? First, it affects our lives, directly. Some people may not notice, but the LPG price actually affects the price of cooked food. And of course, if the price hike can’t be stopped, people will resort to using alternative cooking methods which may cause bigger problems. Studies revealed that 1 out of 5 globally suffer from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD or Black Lung) because of frequent exposure to fumes from alternative cooking fuel/ methods.

Last March, I published a blog post about the first gadget that I ever bought using my own money that I earned through blogging. And now, I am, again, very happy to post another entry about something that I recently bought.

In everyday living, a portable computer or any device that can be used as a content-creator is a big help for bloggers. That’s why, I always dreamed of having a laptop or notebook. A portable PC which I can bring anywhere. A laptop that I can use in writing blog entries even I’m away from my home.

Only few bucks left in my account when I bought my iPod Touch. But fortunately, I got a very prosperous month of April, which increased my online earnings, until I reached my goal – the goal that is just right to buy a new notebook.
