This coming February 14, me and the whole civil engineering students will be out partying. Yeah, February 14 will be our masquerade ball. The whole department of Civil Engineering in Bulacan State University will have a great night on February 14, 2010. February 14 is indeed special for us, Civil Engineering students. But for couples, February 14 is the much more special for them.

This February 14, the whole world celebrates the Valentine’s Day or the lovers’ day. In this day, love blooms again. Most of the people go out for a date, or treat their loved ones or just simply have fun this day. And most of these people love giving or receiving gifts, like roses, chocolates or bears (especially the girls).

The online world is just getting better and better. Now, you can order your favorite food online, you can edit your photos online, and you can even have friends online! World wide web is a huge step forward for this generation. This huge internet community can be considered as a huge marketplace for business-minded people, a huge family-day community for friend-seekers, or a simple shopping mall for shopaholics.

Using the web, we can get services – fast. As of now, I do some online transactions for my bank account. Whenever I got funds from this blog, I transfer it through an internet-based bank. It’s just so convenient to do tasks online.

Windows 7 from Microsoft Windows was launched last year and has been one of the greatest products of technology of 2009. Windows 7 is an Operating System. And an Operating System is better when it looks more like you. Meaning, the flexibility in customization, personalization, and other. One thing that can tweak or customize is by activating GodMode in Windows 7.

GodMode is like a folder (or a place in PC) where all settings of your PC can be found. From your screen resolution to backing-up your computer or even tweaking your mouse settings. It’s like the traditional control panel, but the difference is that it’s an all-in-one settings page.

Windows 7

I’ve been a Photoshop user since I started graphic designing. I never used a photo editing web app. My younger sister, Keith Anne, loves editing her photos using different web apps available on the net. But Rollip.com (a new photo-editing web app) has an interesting thing that grabbed my attention — professional photo effects.

If you’re a photographer, you should know that Adobe Photoshop is a great tool for post-processing your photos. Adjusting colors, the tones, everything, use Adobe Photoshop. But in the web? You can use nothing. The available photo-editing apps on the web can’t be used as a post-processing tool for photographers because they only do simple effects. But now, Rollip.com requested me to review their app that offers professional photo effects – which sounds awesome.

Photo-editing Web Apps, Rollip.com

Another game has been attached on my bookmarks bar on Facebook. It is the new game, Rock Riot. Rock Riot is a new flash-based game from Slide Inc., where you can play a Guitar Hero-like game. Yeah, the concept of the game is similar to famous Guitar Hero and Rock Band games.

In Rock Riot, you have a character, which you can customize, select its band members and of course, the choose your own band name. There, you can play as long as you want. And the challenge here, is to beat your friends’ rankings. Yeah, it is another ranking system game on Facebook.

And of course, if it’s a flash game, there’s always a way to cheat it (but not all the time). Rock Riot cheats are everywhere. And as the game becomes more and more popular, many hackers or “nice” people will eventually develop (or discover) their own way to cheat Rock Riot.
