eXperiment 6.0 Photo Set 1

Canon 1000D has been with me for almost 2 and a half years. I used it extensively to capture moments of my family, friends and even strangers. I love my dslr. But recently, my 18-55mm EFS lens’ AF got broken. I don’t know why but in my research, this problem is very common in this kind of lens. The camera is working fine, the only problem is the lens that I only have.

Then, my aunt (a close friend too), Tita Jem, invited me and my cousins for a fun shoot. She will be the make-up artists, I will be the photographer, and my cousins including my sister will be the models. At first, I was hesitating to join since my 1000D’s lens is broken. Good thing, Tita Jem has a Nikon D60 camera. At first, using Nikon D60 gave me real hard time figuring out how to change some colors, exposure, shutter speed and the ISO setting. But when I got used to it, it was a fun-filled moment. That was the first time I ever used a Nikon dslr and I must say that Nikon is awesome, just like Canon.

So anyway, here are the first part of this photo set, featuring Keith Anne Servigon, Camille Polintan, Ar Em Artus and Angel Artus as the models together with Jeremy Nadura as the Hair and Make-up Artist:

Suzuki Hayabusa Die Cast Model [Photos]

I tweeted last January that I started collecting Die Cast models of big bikes and sports cars. Why I’m loving this kind of hobby? Well, I really love cars, but I’m still a teenager and can’t afford to buy the real one and that’s why I started buying the die cast models of each car that I really like.

My first ever die cast is a Suzuki Hayabusa 1:18 Die Cast Model which I bought last January in a toy store somewhere in our town. I really liked it, especially its color. And of course, I took some pictures of it! – well, I’m sure you predicted that I’m gonna say that again.

Awesome right? As of now, I have three 1:18 motorcycles and two 1:24 sports cars which I will soon post here on my blog.

Flowers! Photo Set 1

I checked my archives and I saw that the last post I wrote here on my blog featuring different photos of different flowers was July 2010. It was eight months ago and that’s not cool. I like flowers as my subject in my photos because they’re colorful and really nice in the eyes. Luckily, our kubo (hut) is filled with colorful flowers right now – thanks to Ka Esto. When I saw the flowers for the first time, I was like, “this is going to be awesome!” I grabbed my camera and took photos of different flowers planted in our kubo and that was one fun moment. Here are some of the photos I got during that day:

Photos of New Generation of Philippine Money (Part 1)

Philippine Pres. Benigno Aquino III announced the new generation of Philippine money. He showed them to the people and every Filipino got really excited to have one of those. Luckily, my bestfriend’s dad is working in Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas so I got a chance to have the complete set of the new Philippine peso banknotes. When I first so them, I was amazed – they are really nice. They’re awesome. I really like the new design of our paper bills.

And just this day, I took some photos of the new generation of Philippine money to share them to you here on my blog. Here’s the first part of this photo set featuring the obverse or front part of the paper bills.

The new design of Philippine Peso banknotes are nice especially in the 500 and 1000 bills. Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines) added shiny seals on 500 and 1000 bills. I think this seal is for protection from very bad people who make fake money – if I’m not mistaken.

New Toy: Sea Spray (Transformers)

It’s really good to have many great stuffs – especially when you really like them. And as a collector of Transformers action figures, having a new addition to my collection is like winning an online slot. It’s really just so good. And now, my newest toy is a kick-ass robot that rules the seas – Sea Spray.

New Toy: Super Mario!

Super Mario is one of the most popular game in the history. It’s almost everyone’s favorite. I still remember when I was in grade school, my cousins and I used to play the Mario game every time we got home from school. It was totally fun. And now, I finally found the newest addition in my collection, the Super Mario action figure!

When I got myself in mall again, I won’t miss the chance to buy Mario’s companion, Luigi!

MindWipe of Transformers – My Newest Toy!

I’m a Transformers ROTF (Revenge of the Fallen) action figures collector right now. And the latest addition to my collection is MindWipe! Actually, I didn’t noticed him in the movie (LOL) but this one looks really cool and he’s the first Decepticon in my desk.

And of course, I took some photos of it. Take a look:

I really like this dude. But this gave me a hard time figuring out how to turn him into his robot mode. I just then watched a YouTube video on how to transform him because it’s so hard -really.

I’m planning to buy another addition to my collection this holiday season, or maybe there’s someone with a very kind soul who will give me a gift containing one Megatron ROTF action figure?
