iBlog is one of the Philippines’ much-awaited bloggers’ event. And last Saturday, April, 17, 2010, me together with my cousins and out aunt, attended the said event at Malcolm Theater which is located at UP College of Law Building. We only attended the second day of the event because we were too busy.
Anyway, the iBlog6 rocks! Why? Because I met so many cool bloggers. I saw the bloggers who are making money online big time. I also saw some famous bloggers. And I also learned a lot about blogging. Me and my cousins had a lot of fun too! We took pictures like crazies! Ha-ha-ha.

The North Face 100
Summer season is coming here in the Philippines. And most Filipinos enjoy the heat of summer season by having a beach party or a simple pool-side gathering. But one of the best things that we can do this summer season is to join an action-packed trail running marathon! Philippines is a great spot for great marathon events. And this month of April, The North Face 100 organized another huge trail running marathon series in the country’s coolest place – Baguio City.
The North Face 100 has been organizing events like this here in the Philippines in the past three years (like the unforgettable tnf 100) . And this time, The North Face brings the marathon lovers to Baguio City. We all know that Baguio is a place with a very rough terrain. So the marathon that will take place here will definitely define your personal limits. From rocky roads to gnarly paths of the city, expect to have an active and thrilling marathon.
I was so happy when I got an invitation to be one of the resource speakers for an upcoming bloggers’ event, the Blog World Philippines 2010. First, I was hesitant to accept the invitation because I don’t know if I can speak well in that kind of event. But when I realized that this opportunity is another big step forward for being a better person, or simply being a better blogger, I changed my mind. This is another huge achievement for me. So, I replied to Sir Leo Fuentes of Asian Institute of E-Commerce and accepted the invitation.
So, the big day comes. The event took place at Crossroad 77, in Quezon City, Philippines. The venue was huge and there were a lot of audiences – mostly youth people. And when I addressed my speech, there was a little problem but I think that was just OK. After my talk, I received a plaque of recognition and some (very nice) gifts. I was so happy and thankful. I also love the Question and Answer part where me with Ms. Janette Toral, Mr. Julius Cesar Mamaril and Ms. Cristina Manimbo-Gascon answer questions from the audience about blogging. In this part, I was able to express my insights in blogging.
After the event, we had a little picture taking time with the other resource speakers and some girls. I also met so many people having big names in the e-commerce industry.

Philippines, our very own country, has been experiencing different series of major tragedies. The two destructive typhoons and the horrible Maguindanao massacre, all of these were experienced last year. And this year 2010, Philippines is indeed in need of change.
