While bloghopping, I stopped at Joycee’s Blog. I saw her blog post about a photo-editing contest for the official launch of her blog. The contest rules were so easy! You’ll just pick one of her photos then edit it using Photoshop or any photo-editing tools! And I’m so glad that I’m good in Photoshop. :P

And here’s the photo that I picked from her Shutterfly album:

And here are some print screens while I’m editing her pic.

The first step is copying the image's original layer into another layer then erasing the background of the copy layer. BTW, I also add some blur effects on her face for a good glowing skin effect.

Next step is putting some cool effects on the photo. Some flowers, and using some cool brushes!

And the last step is putting text on the photo and finalizing the digital artwork.

And finally, the digital artwork is done! And here it is! (Click the image for better resolution)

It took some minutes (I think) after I finished this thing. And I hope I’ll win this contest because of numerous prices! :P

Me, as an owner of a PSP, I want to customize it as long as I can. And the best way in customizing every one’s PSP is choosing the right wallpaper. Just like in our PCs and cellphones, we like our gadgets use custom wallpapers.

So I decide to create wallpapers for PSP. At first, I didn’t thought of making a blog for that thing, so I just create and create wallpapers for my PSP. But it’s a good idea to create a blog for PSP wallpapers which is a good SEO keyword!

And I end up in to this, http://weeklypspwallpapers.blogspot.com. A blog which features weekly bundles of PSP wallpapers! But, why weekly and not daily? Because my time can’t afford to create such things everyday and post it online especially when I’m going to school.

Wow, I can’t believe that background images are the main topic again here. I blogged some of my first edited background images for my cousins and you can see it here. Right now, I’m going to blog about this popular category for my “fans” or let’s just say, “costumers”  who want me to edit their photos for themselves(ugh). In my last post regarding these background images, the main faces in images were my cousins. But right now, my friends from school are the main seekers for good profile background. Oh, yeah, my cousins are also here to support me and ask eventually for my photoshop knowledge again. But I’m glad to have their photos in my editing arena. So, here’s the great roll of background images for their Friendster profiles.

Hmm, I think all of these are good. I hope they are now enjoying their cool backgrounds in their Friendster profiles right now.

Uhmm, this edited photo marked my digital history because this is my first edited photo that has been printed on a large photo paper! I’m just so glad that it happened. Thanks to my professor in Psychology class because she gave me an assignment to make a poster. I tried to make one using my bare hands with pencil and paper but the finished product was a mess. I decided to print one of my edited photos right away and present it as my poster. Ha-ha-ha!!!

One more thing, the digital artwork’s title, Express Your Real Color, has been generated in my mind because of some thoughts that had been generated in other’s mind. Each color symbolizes different unique personalities. For example, a deep blue color means richness or luxury, red for hotness or love, and  black for conservative(but my blog is not so conservative, he-he).  So, the idea for the title of this manipulated photo came from personality and colors. “Express your real personality” is same as “express your real color”.  That is what I mean.

Wow, this kid is really growing up! He’s name is Andrew Kyle and he’s one of my nephews. I love this kid because his really cute! Is it so obvious that this kid inherited my cuteness? Hahaha. Well, you decide.

So, this coming November 22, 2008, this little cutie will be having his 1st birthday party! His mother asked me for the design of the invitations for the party. “Yeah, sure. I’m willing to do that!” First, I asked the kid and his mother to let me took photos of them. The photo shoot was really a lot of fun but, yeah, it made me so weary. But that’s ok. Next, my darkroom, Photoshop. The concept for the invitation was Walt Disney characters, so, I chose Mickey Mouse because it’s easier to manipulate(hehehe). Then, I put out the face of Mickey Mouse and put Kyle’s face there. Wow, Kyle looks so cute in that invitation! Sweet!

She’s my girlfriend, Joni. I love her. Yeah, I really love her. And I dedicate this manipulated photo to her because I love her (and because she’s the one on the picture, hehehe). What about the title? When we we’re at the time of courtship, I gave her a bouquet of flowers. And that was the my formal start of courting her. And the time blew up our hearts and link us together. (Sweet!!!) And why blinded? Because love is blind. Hahaha, and I love her also means I blind her. LOL! But seriously speaking, the title means, I court her with my flowers.

I used this image as the background for my Fan Profile at Friendster. I put my three favorite manipulated photos in this background image. It looked good in my Fan Profile.

My sister, Keith Anne, saw this image on my Fan Profile and asked me if I can make another one for her. Sure! I made a background image for my sister for her Friendster Profile. Then, my cousins saw my sister’s page and they wanted me to make again background images for them. Ok, ok. Again, my avid customers asked me for my shining imagination. So here’s the roll of new edited pictures as background image for their Friendster Profiles.
