Last May 6, 2009, I created another blog which will use my skills in graphic designing. Weekly PSP Wallpapers is my new blog which features free wallpapers for PSP. As of now, I already finished twenty-four (24) PSP wallpapers. From black, red, orange to pink, blue and green, I created different PSP wallpapers with unique designs. I also created few Vista wallpapers for your favorite PSP.

While bloghopping, I stopped at Joycee’s Blog. I saw her blog post about a photo-editing contest for the official launch of her blog. The contest rules were so easy! You’ll just pick one of her photos then edit it using Photoshop or any photo-editing tools! And I’m so glad that I’m good in Photoshop. :P

And here’s the photo that I picked from her Shutterfly album:

And here are some print screens while I’m editing her pic.

The first step is copying the image's original layer into another layer then erasing the background of the copy layer. BTW, I also add some blur effects on her face for a good glowing skin effect.

Next step is putting some cool effects on the photo. Some flowers, and using some cool brushes!

And the last step is putting text on the photo and finalizing the digital artwork.

And finally, the digital artwork is done! And here it is! (Click the image for better resolution)

It took some minutes (I think) after I finished this thing. And I hope I’ll win this contest because of numerous prices! :P

Oh, did I said to you that I am traveling around the world? I use this private plane whenever I have a country hopping trip. Let me know if you want to come with me.

This one is my cruise ship. I named it “Kelvinonian Voyage”. I use this one for great expeditions, exploring tropical islands and broad seas.

Ha-Ha-Ha! Did I made you shocked with my assets? These are mine. Yes, they’re all true. They are true digital artworks! Remember, I am a digital artist? So I can edit photos. He-he-he.

Every person wants to be rich. I am a dreamer who wish to have a great life with so many money. If I am a billionaire, I will buy those huge things up there. I’ll buy high-tech gadgets. I’ll buy mouth-watering foods! I’ll buy anything I want! This dream is very hard to reach. But if I will work on it, I can reach it. But money is just a piece of paper or metal that can buy anything you want, but with exceptions. Money makes us happy, but it is not essential. This means, becoming rich is not important. (Hmm, do you agree?)

Anyway, I named the three manipulated photos as “The Riches Series” (Wow). I really like it! I hope these dreams become real. Cheers!

Wow, time runs really fast. Its 22 days before Christmas and 28 days before the coming of New Year(from the time this one posted)! I am so excited. Christmas is for all. Sharing your blessings from God and of course, giving love to your family. This coming December 18, my Dad will be here in the Philippines from Nigeria for a sweet holiday vacation. And this added to my excitement for the holiday season. I’m so sure that our whole family will be in high spirits because my Dad will be celebrating with us.

And of course, the new year. Year 2009 is coming. A new year for new life (yeah! that’s the spirit!). This coming new year, I’m planning to tweak some of my bad traits into a heavenly-trait, I hope so(he-he-he). And for the record, this year will be another year for another series of digital artworks! Yes! I’m planning to make a new series of manipulated pictures, named “Say something” and to be posted this coming 2009. I’m so thrilled with this new project for my Kelvinonian Ideas.

O-yeah!!! My ordered photo prints were here! After  a day when I ordered these, my treasured photo prints came. I feel so glad when I received them! My three favorite manipulated photos came to reality with these oh-so-good prints. I ordered these at our local photo studio. It cost only Php 17.00 each. Its size is 7×5 inches and that’s good enough for me. My plan is to purchase more photo prints of my edited pictures. And I’ll post them on my room. Wow, I’m so excited for the next batch of photo prints. And I am so excited with my allowance to be given next week so I can order more prints too! Ha-ha-ha!!!

Wow, I can’t believe that background images are the main topic again here. I blogged some of my first edited background images for my cousins and you can see it here. Right now, I’m going to blog about this popular category for my “fans” or let’s just say, “costumers”  who want me to edit their photos for themselves(ugh). In my last post regarding these background images, the main faces in images were my cousins. But right now, my friends from school are the main seekers for good profile background. Oh, yeah, my cousins are also here to support me and ask eventually for my photoshop knowledge again. But I’m glad to have their photos in my editing arena. So, here’s the great roll of background images for their Friendster profiles.

Hmm, I think all of these are good. I hope they are now enjoying their cool backgrounds in their Friendster profiles right now.

Uhmm, this edited photo marked my digital history because this is my first edited photo that has been printed on a large photo paper! I’m just so glad that it happened. Thanks to my professor in Psychology class because she gave me an assignment to make a poster. I tried to make one using my bare hands with pencil and paper but the finished product was a mess. I decided to print one of my edited photos right away and present it as my poster. Ha-ha-ha!!!

One more thing, the digital artwork’s title, Express Your Real Color, has been generated in my mind because of some thoughts that had been generated in other’s mind. Each color symbolizes different unique personalities. For example, a deep blue color means richness or luxury, red for hotness or love, and  black for conservative(but my blog is not so conservative, he-he).  So, the idea for the title of this manipulated photo came from personality and colors. “Express your real personality” is same as “express your real color”.  That is what I mean.

Are you familiar with these things? Of course yes, right? These are albums. Yeah, A-L-B-U-M-S. Some said these albums were not practical these days (applicable in my country) because why spend 500 pesos or 10 dollars for just a piece of an album if you can just search for its mp3 file and download it for free? And pirated CDs are also available almost everywhere which cost almost 1 dollar only. But I hate this practical saying. Yeah, it will cost you a lot if you’ll buy original albums but it will cost you a lot of enjoyment and a lot of rock ‘n roll feelings. So, buy original albums and ignore those stupid pirated CDs! Grrr..

The albums shown up there were the albums of my favorite band and singers. My first love was Avril Lavigne. Yeah, her music was my first love. The Best Damn Thing Limited Edition Album is really great having 1 CD and 1 DVD. My favorite songs of this punk-pop princess are 1. Hot 2. I Can Do Better 3. Runaway 4. Innocence 5. The Best Damn Thing.

The first band that attracted my music mentality was The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. The album Don’t You Fake It was nice. I love the songs there and the every song’s message. The top 5 songs from RJA that hit my heart were 1. Cat and Mouse 2. Seventeen Ain’t So Sweet 3. [Untitled Track] (the hidden song in their album which was not listed at the back of the album’s page) 4. Face Down 5. Damn Regret. I hope they can have a concert here in the Philippines. This band has a lot of fans here.

The last  singer in the list is the Secondhand Serenade with the A Twist in My Story album. At first, I thought that this was a band consisting of a drummer, a vocalist, guitarists, etc. But I search this “band” and discovered that this “band” had only 1 member. I was shocked because that was my first time to saw a singer using a name that should be used by bands and not by an individual or solo singer. John Vesely is the name. He is a good singer. In his album, I loved 5 songs there as usual. And they are: 1. A Twist in My Story 2. Fall For You 3. Your Call 4. Suppose 5. Maybe

These singers surely the rockers of my musical individuality. They color the sounds that enter my ears and perk up my day. Just like anybody, music lives within me.
