Because of your overwhelming comments on my grandma’s poems posted here, she wrote, again, a poem for us. But, I realized, why not create a blog for my grandmother’s poems? She’s writing many poems right now, so why not? Right?

Today, I created a blog for my “Nanay”. And I called it, “Blog ni Lola Ising“. Filipino is the main language of the blog because most of my lola’s poems are in Filipino language.

I’ll be the one who will publish the poems, reply to your comments, and the over-all maintenance. My grandmother’s job is just create and create poems. Well, I know, she loves writing poems so, that will be a piece of cake for her.

She’ll be very happy when she know about this. Even she’s already at 60+ age group, my lola is still active, even at the web! Well, that’s my Lola!

Me, as an owner of a PSP, I want to customize it as long as I can. And the best way in customizing every one’s PSP is choosing the right wallpaper. Just like in our PCs and cellphones, we like our gadgets use custom wallpapers.

So I decide to create wallpapers for PSP. At first, I didn’t thought of making a blog for that thing, so I just create and create wallpapers for my PSP. But it’s a good idea to create a blog for PSP wallpapers which is a good SEO keyword!

And I end up in to this, http://weeklypspwallpapers.blogspot.com. A blog which features weekly bundles of PSP wallpapers! But, why weekly and not daily? Because my time can’t afford to create such things everyday and post it online especially when I’m going to school.

Happy new year to everyone! Well, the year ends again and starts all over again. The year 2008 is memorable to me. In year 2008, I graduated in high school and entered the new world of college. This is the year of great happiness, and tears of sadness(I don’t want to mention it again. You should know that.) So, let’s just wave our hands and bid goodbye to the year 2008 and face the new year with a big smile!

Welcome 2009! Our family’s parties welcomed the year 2009. It is very traditional to have a simple yet exciting party for welcoming the coming year. We started the party at 11:00 pm of December 31, 2008. We had a countdown for the approaching new year. When the clock ticks at 12:00, it’s new year! Fireworks! Fireworks! Fireworks! Yes! As of now, I am blogging since I was a high school student. And now that I am in college, it means that I had been in blogosphere for years. In blogging, you can do almost anything you want. But these things can be possible with the help of some programs both online and offline. And now, I recommend you these softwares which can help you blog easier.

1. Windows Live Writer Beta

In Blogger, you can write your post for your blog online at their site. But for me, writing your post offline is much better than online. Why? You can do anything in online except of something. You cannot edit your post with more helpful tools. But with Windows Live Writer Beta, blogging is a heaven.

Live Writer has a lot of features. You’re like working on a Microsoft Office program when you use this.

• Adding your blog on Live Writer is so easy. You’ll just follow the steps given by the program and the setup will only take minutes.
• As you finish adding your blog, the Windows Live Writer Beta will automatically detect your blog’s theme.
• You can also add effects to your photos. Just like what I always do with my blog photos.

If it’s Christmas, It’s party time! Our whole family had one of our most memorable parties in our history. Remember the B-day bash of my mother? That was hilarious. But this time, Christmas time, the party was extremely energetic! Dance all the way and eat all the way! (Yeah! That’s my family!) We had the party at exactly 12:00 am, December 25. We had lots of foods and lots of Soju! My uncle from South Korea brought some Soju for us to drink it. Actually, that was the first time that my mother saw me drinking alcoholic beverage. Then, after eating and some drinking, the dance floor had opened up for party! And dancing is one of the favorites of my family. Our Christmas party was awesome and really unforgettable. Fresh from the black days of mourning for my grandfather’s death, I’m here to type (and think) for my comeback post for my blog (and for my online accounts). It’s good to be back, but not really good. It’s hard to think that I’m back to the blogging world, not because I had a fabulous trip to Las Vegas or had an adventurous journey to Africa, but because of having the worst thing that may happen to anyone. My grandfather’s death really hurt me. I am having a hard time recovering from what happened to him. (more…)
