Recently last month, Toyota – a huge auto company - recalled 2.3 million vehicles across the America. The Toyota recall was said to be a campaign for safer cars on the road. The gas pedal issues which is related to dangerous acceleration issues made Toyota a big decision to recall a million vehicles. The car company said that these issues were most likely to occur after the gas pedals experience wear and tear. It is indeed nice that Toyota responded to this deadly issue.
Most of the Americans own a car, so most of the Americans were affected in this issue. Many said that it is safe to check your car if it is in a good condition before using it. And with this issue, many auto repair shops enjoyed the huge amount of customers that were having their services. Like in Los Angeles auto repair shops, most of them received many customers (most of them are Toyota/Lexus car owners) at their maintenance-check services. (more…)

BMW X6 Pictures – Beast Inside, Beauty Outside

This coming October, I’ll be celebrating my first anniversary of my driving skill. Yeah, I know how to drive even I am only 17 years old. Actually, I was 16 when I first learned how to drive. I am very proud of that because driving skill is one of the essential skills in everyday living (if you have your own car).
And at early age, I was exposed to the automobile world. I crave for them. I want them! As I said, Mazda 3 2010 model was my target car, but my dream is a BMW car. BMW Z4 Roadster is in the list, but the BMW X6 is on the top of the list.
BMW X6 is one of the top cars of German car-maker, BMW. It is a sleek car, a coupe-crossover, and a combination between a Sport Activity Vehicle and a coupe. BMW X6 is indeed a great car. And I am dreaming of that expensive ride.
To fulfill my dreams (even just a bit), I collected BMW X6 pictures from the web. These BMW X6 pictures are also for you to see (and crave, too) this wonderful car. So, here are BMW X6 pictures, ready to rock you:

At Last, the Car is Here!

Oyeah! The Isuzu Sportivo is ours! We got the car yesterday at the Isuzu Plaridel (BMD Motors). “Wow!” this was the first word I said when I saw the customized Sportivo for us. I looked at it and it was sooooo good! While my mother was arranging the papers for the release of the new car, me and my little cousin Marielle played inside the car! Hahaha, Marielle was so naughty girl. She always wanted to open the LCD monitor and watch a movie. But I didn’t knew how to operate it that day. Everyone was so excited with the new car. After signing of the papers, all were set to move!
An Isuzu employee drove the car for us. Why not me? Hehe, I was scared to drive the NEW car. The first stop, fast-food drive thru. Wow, its so good to just order on a drive thru with your car! (more…)

This is the End. This is the Beginning

Yesterday was October 25, 2008. And that day was the end! The end of my driving lessons! The question is, did I really learned how to drive? And the answer is yes. I learned how to drive a car with the help of Lorraine Driving School. And I’m so thankful about that. Yesterday, I went to San Fernando City, Pampanga for the last day of the driving lesson and they had me for a 4-hour brief driving lecture. The topics was all about the road signs (I learned a lot!) and some basic car maintenance (yeah, purely basic). They said that the lecture would last up to 4 hours but we finished it for only 3 hours. But that’s ok, it’s not a big deal. The important was we learned a lot. By the way, this post is the end. Yeah, the end of series of posts all about my driving school experience.
The beginning. OYE! Now I know how to drive, hahaha, this will be the beginning of my new role in the world as a destination-hopper! Joy ride!!! Yeah, I’m so excited.

“You’re Such A Fast Learner”

Still remember? I enrolled at a Driving school right? Yesterday, the driving lessons at Lorraine Driving School started. I went there at exactly 3:30pm. When I was walking up stairs, I was a bit nervous and thinking on what would be happened in case of any accidents and… “that wouldn’t happen!” Then I approached the secretary, yeah, the one who thought I’m a kid (ugh). She said to wait for a while because the instructor wasn’t arriving yet. And after a while, the great instructor came. I looked at him. “He seems ok” We went to the parking lot and I saw the Toyota Vios that we will use! It’s so gorgeous and glittering. It has a logo of the school in its back.
He drove the car first until we came in an open space. He taught me some basics in starting up a car, checking it up and many more. Its time for me to shine! He let me drive the car. I was nervous at that time. I started the car, yeah, this is it, the car was moving!!! First gear then second gear then break, then reverse and then back to first gear to second gear then break again. This was my routine in my first lesson. The instructor smiled at me and said “You’re good huh” Hehe, I know that. I’m great.

I became a bit busy these past two days. Me with my mom and my cousin went to Isuzu Car Showroom at Plaridel, Bulacan to see the brand new Isuzu Sportivo that we were planning to buy. Hopefully we arrived at the car showroom safe even the storm was coming behind us. We saw the displayed two Sportivo with infinite gold and canyon red colors. My mom insisted that she and my dad had chosen the Sportivo in infinite gold skin. But, I said the color canyon red was much better than what she wanted. My cousin agreed to me. After sometime, my mom decided to choose the color canyon red because she liked it too. Canyon red color is more masculine than infinite gold, am I right? Ok, we went out from the car showroom after all contracts and accounts were settled.
Then, our next destination was searching for driving schools. We went to Malolos City, but we didn’t found any driving schools there so we decided to go to Apalit, Pampanga. There, we saw the Lorraine Driving School. My mom approached the secretary of the said school and ask for the requirements and etc. “Who’s enrolling ma’am?”,
the secretary asked. “Me!”, I said. The secretary thought my mom would be the one enrolling in the driving school and not me because she said I looked like a kid. Grrr!!!! (more…)
