Why a Good Flooring in a House is Important?

Yes, this is a question that a friend asked me. As a civil engineering student, we analyze the best materials that will fit the requirements of a specific house. As of now, we created a full house plan. Yeah, it was so damn hard to draw those huge plans of a house, but it was full of fun and enjoying too.

We drew almost 12 different plans of a single huge house in 20 media papers. It was considered as our first project in our subject, Draw 221. We are civil engineering students so we must learn this. Like my Dad, we always wanted to have a nice house – in our plan. And one of the most exciting part of the project was creating and designing the floor plan. Yes, it was a bit hard to think of the best layout for a floor plan. But my Dad said that selecting for the floor itself was way harder than designing the floor plan.

I can still remember that when we changed our flooring tiles here in our house, my Mom was like in a huge decision making moment. She don’t know what to choose, a nice flooring with carpets or a solid wood flooring. But eventually, when my Dad was asked which was better, he selected none. Instead of carpet and solid wood, he said that floor tiles (huge floor tiles) were better in our house, for our house to look clean and elegant.

I searched the web for a nice site that will give information about flooring, as we continue to do our project in Draw 221. Then I found a site that really satisfied me, the UK Flooring Direct Flooring News. It’s like a blog, but all about flooring. Or should I say, it’s an engineering blog? Well, UK Flooring Direct is not just another site that sells great floorings, it’s also a great site for learning.

Anyway, I just want to share you my thoughts for this day, the UK Flooring Direct. Tomorrow, I’ll post another article here, about something that you want.
