Canon Or Nikon?

Canon or Nikon? This is the question that I always ask whenever I got a chance to be with a professional photographer. When I was an assistant or back-up photographer at Family Affair Event Specialists, I got a chance to work with different great pro photographers. They’ve been in photography in many years. I also worked with photographers with huge names in the industry. Yeah, that was a great experience for me.

So, I asked them, which is better, Canon or Nikon? In the group, I was the only one who take pictures using a Canon DSLR. All of them use Nikon DSLRs, so I expected that the answer is Nikon. But I was wrong. They said that Canon and Nikon are both great DSLRs. Then, they also said that they use Nikon because of “long life”. They said that Canon was brilliant, in colors, performance and more. But Nikon was better in terms of camera life, they said. The camera life means the time that a DSLR will work properly, and one of the most annoying thing that greatly contribute in this issue is the shutter button problem. They said that DSLRs have limits. Like 100,000 shots only, then it will be broken – something like that. And with this issue, Nikon was better than Canon – according to the photographers I met.

I’m still confused, Canon has brilliant color while Nikon has longer life. So, I did a research. I searched the web to see what is the answer for this epic question that confuses my mind. In my site-hopping, I found three nice reviews regarding this issue. Here they are:
