A Better Blog for Year 2010

If every person has their own new year’s resolution, then my blog must have one, too. Me? Yeah, I have one, but I want it to keep it private because most of it are personal things. Anyway, I have plans and goals for this blog this new year. And I want to share it with you.

As of now, I have good plans for this blog.

• Wallpaper Monday. This few months, I noticed that most of my posts were about photography and other stuffs. But I am supposedly posting about graphic designing too. So, I made a plan. The first thing I want to do this new year, is to create a nice wallpaper which you can download, share, and of course, use. Every other Monday, I’ll be posting wallpapers here on my blog. Sounds cool right?
• Photoshop Video Tutorials. This is one of the most exciting things that I want to do. But I can’t do it myself. So I just decided to collect cool video tutorials on Youtube. Photoshop video tutorial is better way to teach you how to play with Photoshop.
• More Photo Series. As of now, this blog has three photo series. And, I want to create more photo series, especially this coming vacation.
• More Helpful Tips in Photography. Aside from Photoshop tutorials, I also want to publish photography tips and tutorials here at my blog. I found that some of my readers here are photo enthusiasts, too! So some photography tips will definitely help them.

And, my blog’s goals are:

• Better Blog Posts Frequency. Many probloggers said that a good and consistent frequency in publishing a blog post is a good way to attract more readers. I think I agree with them. As of now, my blog post frequency is every other day. And with that, you can just check my blog every other day, and not everytime waiting for new blog post to welcome you on my homepage. Right?
• Better Writing. Writing a more competitive blog post is a real hard task. But for the sake of my blog’s readership community, I want to improve my writing skills so I can write better blog posts for this year.
• Expand Readership Community. Right now, my FeedBurner stat is playing around 80-130 readers. And this year, I want to expand it more. I want to attract more visitors and readers. I can do this by following my first two goals, hopefully.

My list sounds awesome. Yeah, it’s cool to say those things. But of course, I need to make it real by doing it faithfully to make it more awesome. And, I hope you’ll be with me as I walk in this new year of blogging fun!
