Why Photo Blogging is a Lot Easier than Any Other Kind of Blogging?

This question just came out from my mind while I was about to post a new photo set here on my blog. I just noticed that, I got new content to be blogged almost every other day which really drives my blogging spirit. And I also noticed that posting “photo sets” is way easier than posting long articles. So, I answered my own question, and ended up having 5 answers.
- Photo Blogging is being entered by bloggers who love photography, too – which really make sense. Photo blogging is showing your photos that you recently captured using your favorite camera (e.g. Canon EOS 1000D) or like a collection of web photos. So, if you’re a blogger and love photography, photo blogging may be a good path to successful blogging for you.
- Photography is easy to learn. Yes, there are lots of technicalities you need to learn before you can go photography. But if you are really eager to know about it, then it’s a piece of cake. Learning photography is just like learning a specific subject in college. If you put not only your brain, but also your heart, then you’ll surely have the benefits of its full knowledge. And I noticed that, my friends easily got hooked to photography when they borrowed my dSLR for few minutes. And then they said, “I think I am loving photography…” I am not kidding, taking pictures is so enjoyable. Meaning, photography is fun to learn, too.
- You don’t need to be a master writer. Because you’ll just show to the world your greatest artworks! Yes, blogging means writing thoughts, but in photo blogging writing means your photos’ descriptions. Only the descriptions of photos or the story behind it is the only thing that you need to write in every blog post, which is a lot easier compared to other kinds of blogging (especially to commentaries and personal). But of course, if you love writing and photography, then let it flow.
- Easier to get content. At the beginning of this post, I said that I got new content to be blogged almost every other day. Why? Because almost every day, I take pictures. Why again? Because I just so love it. Taking pictures rather than brainstorming is a lot easier, right?
- 5. Easier to attract readers. Many readers in the world wide web choose just to look at the photos of an specific event and read its description rather than reading a whole article about it. Like me, I love browsing photo galleries rather than reading short stories. But of course, the attention of readers always depends on the quality of your content.
There you go. The message of this post is “photo blogging is easier than any other forms of blogging”. And I proved it with 5 reasons (hopefully). But of course, your blogging career will always depend on you. You choose photo blogging because it’s easy, then ok. But if you’re not loving it, it’s not good. You must choose the form of blogging that you will do by asking what do you really want, love, and of course, if you’re having fun doing it. And if the answer is yes, then, who knows, you’ll gonna be a famous blogger just like me (yeah, I’m famous… in my dreams, LOL).

Hi Kevin,
You may not notice it but I was warned by Safari browser me that your site appears to contain malware that can be harmful to some visitors. I am using my FF but it doesn’t give me “warnings”.
I think you have posted an article or something in your sidebars that has links to a possible hack site.
Thought I’d let you know http://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?tpl=safari&site=img309.imagehack.ws&hl=en-us

Totally agree that photo blogging can be easier than blogging itself. Then again, getting nice photos that are great can also be a difficult tasks.

You’re right. Of course, you must learn the art of photography.
Thank you, DiTesco.

I sometimes suggest photoblogging to those who like to start out blogging but think they are poor in writing. I agree, it’s indeed easy.

Yeah, and if you’re not that good in photography, you can just collect photos from the web (with permissions of course) which is very easy.
Thank you, Ms. Gem.

Agree! Agree! But then again, there’s difficulty in establishing one’s nieche at mag-shy away ang mga newbie dahil halos lahat ng photobloggers are good photographers.

Iyon nga lang, pero you can improve your photography skill naman, para pwede ka nang makipagsabayan sa mga bigating photo bloggers! Di ba?

Photo blogging is indeed much easier to blog-about and handle.. I agree.. the focus is on photos rather than putting (posting) paragraphs of text and so on.. the craft itself contains the art of blogging and photography.. Hop and great job..!
