Today, SM Marilao, one of the biggest malls here in Bulacan, organized a Bloggers event to promote different delicacies offered by food stalls here in SM Marilao Foodcourt. This event gave bloggers the opportunity to try and taste the foods here (and for free!). Yeah, we ate some foods here, and, I need to blog about it. (*burp*)
First, Aling Lucing: The Sisig Queen tasty sisig:
Yeah, sisig, a Filipino dish that sizzles when served, was the first dish that I tasted. At first, it looks good. But when I tasted it, it tastes better! Aling Lucing is indeed the Sisig Queen. Score: 10/10
Next, Baliwag Lenchon Manok atbp. chicken and squid:
Ah, the golden brown chicken, one of my favorite foods! I used to eat this every parties, occasions and even in an ordinary day. And now, Baliwag Lenchon Manok atbp. gave us a sample of their lenchon manok (roasted chicken). The taste of the chicken was fine, but when matched with the sauce, it was perfect! Yeah, I loved it. Score: 8/10
The pusit (squid). I occasionaly eat squid. I don’t love it but I eat it (yeah, but it never drives my appetite though). So, Baliwag Lenchon Manok atbp. not only offers lechon manok but also Filipino dishes such as dinuguan, kare-kare, sisig, chopsuey, crispy pata, and the inihaw na pusit (grilled squid). At first, I thought it was adobong pusit because it tasted like an adobo dish. But one of the bloggers here said that it was a grilled squid. The adobo feeling was just because of the sauce on it. So, I liked the dish, but it really didn’t got my taste. Score: 7/10
Third, the sweet (and spicy) Caldereta of Kusina ni Gracia:
“Lutong bahay” specialties is the pride of Kusina ni Gracia. Lutong bahay means a dish cooked in house (am I right? LOL). The Caldereta, was served to us and, it tasted great! Caldereta is my favorite lutong bahay because of the sweet and spicy flavor of this great dish. Score: 9/10
Fourth, Chansel Pizza:
Pizza! One of my favorite foods to eat in malls. And it’s my first time to try Chansel Pizza’s pizza. They gaved me 2 slices of their pizza. The first slice was gone immediately (thanks to my little sister, she ate it fast!). So the second one, was mine! Yey! I ate it, and it tasted good! Just like my favorite pizza house, Chansel Pizza served best pizzas, too! I promise, when I came back here in SM Marilao, I’ll eat here at Chansel Pizza (take note of that). Score: 10/10
That’s it! Overall, SM Marilao Foodcourt food stalls offer great dishes! From your favorite chicken to your favorite pizzas, all here. BTW, thanks to Smart Bro who sponsored the free WiFi and laptops here at the SM Foodcourt. Yey!
