I am One of The Top 10 Emerging Influential Bloggers of 2009

Ms. Janette Toral’s writing project, Top 10 Emerging Influential Bloggers, is one of the most-awaited event in Philippine blogosphere (and International blogosphere, too). Its main goal is to put new bloggers but with great passion in blogging and became influential within his/her first steps in blogging in the limelight of the whole blogosphere. Everyone who wants to join will nominate their top 10 blogs who qualified in the year’s requirements. It is a good example of an activity in blogosphere which will give chance to new bloggers to meet probloggers.
And this year’s Top 10 Emerging Influential Bloggers of 2009, many bloggers around the world (but mostly Filipino bloggers) joined the writing project of Ms. Janette Toral. And last night, August 09, 2009, bloggers who joined the writing project had an eyeball event where the Top 10 winners announcement took place, too.
Here are this year’s Top 10 Emerging Influential Bloggers of 2009:

Luckily, I won! Yeah, I won. I am one of the top 10 emerging influential bloggers of 2009. I am lined up with those blogs with big names. I am one of the celebrities last night. I am so lucky! Honestly, I didn’t expected this. I just want to be mentioned in some top 10 lists of other bloggers, because I know, it is so hard to be one of the top 10, there are so many bloggers who are ( I think ) popular and influential than me. But I was wrong, this writing project proved that, even I am just a 17-year old blogger, a “kid” if compared to other bloggers, can be on top among others. Why am I saying this? Because I want teen bloggers to continue blogging, enjoy blogging. Who knows, next year, another young blogger will make it to the top 10, right?
Last night, all winners of top 10 need to speak in front. A little sharing about their blogs. And when I was there, in front of all popular bloggers in Philippine blogosphere, its just like, “damn, I can’t speak! I don’t know what to say!” LOL. My girlfriend (Joni of Box of Cherries) said that my voice sounds like I’m crying when I was in front! I think, that’s because I was too nervous. That’s just a funny story, one of the funny stories last night. He-he-he.
So, of course, I brought Canon EOS 1000D to capture some photos in Top 10 Influential Bloggers of 2009:

After the event, me, my friends and bloggers had a dinner somewhere there ( I can’t remember the name of the resto ). BTW, my cousin, R.M., not a blogger, just accompanied me at the event, won the phone from Red Mobile! LOL, he’s so lucky.
This is the first bloggers’ event I attended and, I had a blast! All bloggers were so friendly! So, I am looking forward for more bloggers’ event to attend.
To all the bloggers who nominated me in this writing project. I owe you big time. Without all of you, I won’t be there. To Ms. Janette, ma’am thank you for this, you gave not only me, but the all newbie bloggers a chance to stand out and shine (wow). And of course, to Jedi Bloggers! Thank you very much, too.
