The looks of a blog is one of the most important things you must consider in building your blog better. This can also help you keep visitors in your blog because visitors can also be attracted by your blog’s appearance or theme. And everytime there’s a visitor in your blog, the first thing that they will see in your blog is your blog name or blog logo (in many cases).
If the theme is your blog’s face, then the logo is your blog’s eyes. So you better choose the right eyes for your blog. Here in my blog, my logo is literally, my eyes. That logo means, this blog is me. You see my blog as you see me. I am just a 17-year old teen yet full of creative ideas (perhaps). “Dark” Ideas yet colorful meanings.
In short, your blog’s logo is a preview of your blog’s content. They should be relevant in your blog’s niche.
Creating a logo for a blog is a bit easy for me (just a bit). I am not saying that I’m so great with it, but I can say it because I know I can. And if I can do logos, you can, too. I used to know how to design logos since I learned Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop is like a super powerhouse for graphic designing. And with it, your dream logo is nearing the reality. I know, for beginners, Adobe Photoshop is complicated. But, hey, why instructions are made? Why there are so many tutorials around the web? Why there are so many seminars or classes about it? Because they are made to help you to conquer Adobe Photoshop with ease.
At All Graphic Design, you can see some of the web’s best Photoshop tutorials for creating logos. Here, you can learn how to create your blog’s logo step by step. But be sure that you have the Adobe Photoshop.
Before I wrote this post, I created five logos. And here they are:

I know, these logos are not that good as professional-made logos, but my Mom said they are cool. LOL!
Anyway, I made these logos to give you some ideas on what you should make for your blog’s logo design. As I said, they are the eyes of your blog. They should be stunning.

I believe your mom said it correctly, whoelse can be proud syempre our lovedones. I love tweaking themes but honestly, I don’t know how to use Adobe or a simple logo-maker. I’m a typography person, so basically use of font style are one that I’d like to see in a blog (self-hosted) nowadays, yung tipong magazine-style.
Also, blog content is also important and I hate sidebar clutter in a blog. Yours naman is minimal, except that it’s BLACK, arrghhh you’re hurting my eyes, haha. It’s your blog, you can do whatever you like, pero dapat browse-friendly din, diba?
