Our Lady of Manaoag Visit
10 Comments | Posted by Kelvin Servigon in Events, Photography, Thoughts
After going to Fontana Leisure Parks, we went at the 400 year old Our Lady of Manaoag Church at Pangasinan to visit the church and attend a mass. We left our house at 5:15am and arrived at the church at exactly 8:30am. The long ride took almost 3 and a half hours. But that doesn’t matter if you’ll think on what will be the end of that long trip, a religious mass in a historical church.
When we arrived there, many street vendors approached us selling their religious goodies to us. This thing is ok, but they are forcing us to buy their items! One lady pinned something on my shirt and gave me a booklet without asking my permission and said that those are blessings of God and I shouldn’t refuse it. Eventually, she said that those “blessings” are only Php 60.00! I don’t know what to do so my Mom talked to the lady. My Mom said it’s not right to force someone to buy those things even it was a religious item. The lady walked away after that.
I didn’t expect that these kind of vendors were scattered in a famous historical church. They shouldn’t practice that kind of style of selling things to others. They are ruining the spiritual ambiance of the church!
Anyway, thanks God we attended the mass in right time. Our spiritual being had been replenished.
After the mass, we had our Isuzu Sportivo be blessed at the Car Blessing ceremony at the church. And before we leave the church, we ate our lunch and had a photo session (my favorite part, xD)

Yesterday, April 18,2009, we went to Fontana Leisure Parks & Casino at Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga to officially start our series of summer escapades!
We woke up early at 7:00 am to ready our things to be brought there. We start traveling at 10:00am from Calumpit, Bulacan and arrived at the Fontana at 11:45 am. We ate our packed lunch at one of the parks of Fontana because our villa was available for check in only at 2:00pm. We decided to swim after our check in at the villa. But we can’t tempt the great view of Fontana Waterparks!

Camille Turning 18: The Party
0 Comments | Posted by Kelvin Servigon in Events, Photography
Still remember the pictorial of my cousin named Camille? Well, that was just a preparation for a bigger project for me. Last April 12 (yes, that’s Easter Sunday), Camille’s family hosted a party for her 18th birthday.
Camille’s party was a big project for me. Because, this time, I’m one of the main photographers and not just the asst. photographer. We were three photographers and one cameraman that night. The other two photographers were sponsored by Family Affairs. And the cameraman that night is the one who I worked with in Camille’s pictorial.
The party was very glamorous! There were so many beautiful ladies! I can’t help myself not to look at them. But, hey, my younger sister, Keith Anne looked stunning that night too!
Camille’s Debut Party was a success even there were so many problems that they encountered before the event.
I am proud that I belong in this clan. Why? Just look at the photos below. (Photos by: Kelvin Servigon–Kelvinonian Ideas Photography)
