Goodbye 2008. Hello 2009!

Happy new year to everyone! Well, the year ends again and starts all over again. The year 2008 is memorable to me. In year 2008, I graduated in high school and entered the new world of college. This is the year of great happiness, and tears of sadness(I don’t want to mention it again. You should know that.) So, let’s just wave our hands and bid goodbye to the year 2008 and face the new year with a big smile!
Welcome 2009! Our family’s parties welcomed the year 2009. It is very traditional to have a simple yet exciting party for welcoming the coming year. We started the party at 11:00 pm of December 31, 2008. We had a countdown for the approaching new year. When the clock ticks at 12:00, it’s new year! Fireworks! Fireworks! Fireworks! Yes!
